GIS Builder

A deliberate next step on the STRATUM roadmap.

Build Context, Not Projects

Right now, gathering exploration intelligence means managing a massive context switch. You find reports online, you download scattered shapefiles, you open heavy desktop suites like QGIS or ArcGIS, you battle CRS projection mismatches, and you rebuild your spatial context from scratch for every single project.

GIS Builder is the next major workspace we want to add to STRATUM. The goal is a lightweight, high-performance spatial layer inside the platform, so the reports, tenure, and geology you discover in STRATUM can eventually be assembled in one browser-based environment instead of being pushed back out into separate GIS tools.

Why It's on the Roadmap

STRATUM is being built as a connected exploration workflow, and GIS Builder is the next major step in that direction.

  • Report Extractor automatically finds and ranks relevant historical data.
  • Tenement Viewer monitors live ground status and ownership.
  • GIS Builder is the planned workspace layer that would bring those outputs together on a single map canvas.

What to Expect

STRATUM is in active development. These capabilities are planned for upcoming releases.

Zero Configuration

Every layer you add sits in the same coordinate frame. No more CRS warnings or reprojection headaches. You just map.

Native Data Integration

Instantly push drillholes from the Report Extractor or tenements from the Tenement Viewer directly onto your map with one click.

Curated Basemaps

Pre-loaded with heavily optimised, nationwide layers including the latest state geology, geophysics, and structural frameworks.

Cloud Workspaces

Save your current map state and share it instantly with your exploration team or investors via a secure, interactive link.

Export Ready

Need to go deep? Select your curated workspace and export it as a clean, structured GeoPackage ready for heavy desktop GIS analysis.
